Join us in the Taproom on Saturday October 26th as we celebrate National Indie Beer Day alongside independent brewers and supporting venues all over the country. It’s important to know where your beer comes from and what you’re investing in when you make a beer purchase. We’d like to use this opportunity to raise some important questions about beer ownership and where you’d rather see your money going... Overseas to big multinational companies, or to a local business feeding back into your local community? So, come and join us in celebrating all things indie beer, with a nationwide cheers happening at 2pm. Taproom Update
The Taproom has undergone some big changes over the past couple of months, with a new look, new drinks and a whole new food menu. We also have new opening hours: Thursday 3-8pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-9pm and Sunday 12-6pm. On Thursdays you can enjoy a burger, chips and a schooner of beer all for $19. Friday Flappy Hour goes off with $5 plates of wings from 3-6pm. Saturday is now Steak Night, which means you can get a Steak with chips and salad plus a schooner of beer for $30. So, come in and check out what we’ve done with the place! Awards and Accolades
Recently we picked up a slew of new medals as well as being voted best craft brewery on the Sunshine Coast. The Independent Beer Awards (The Indies) is a beer competition that is only open to Australian independent breweries. Over 1000 beers were entered from 147 breweries around the country. We received a medal for all 5 entries as follows; Japanese Lager picked up a silver medal for both packaged and draught format, Summer Dusk receive silver and bronze for draught and package respectively and the Pilsner received bronze in draught format. Mix FM recently ran a public poll where people voted for their favourite craft beer on the Sunshine Coast and we were stoked to have been voted the best by members of the public! Thanks to all who took the time to give us a vote.
Noosa 7s Sponsorship
This year we’re thrilled to be coming on board as a major sponsor for the Noosa 7s Rugby Tournament held on the 8th and 9th of November. Hosted at the Noosa Dolphins Rugby Club over two days, the event sees teams descend on Noosa from all over the country. Over 80 teams will be registered to compete. As major sponsor you can bet, we’ll be there serving cold beers on the sidelines for all the thirsty spectators and competitors alike. We’ll be set up from about 4pm on the Friday and 1pm on the Saturday in addition to the main bar in the clubhouse. There will be food trucks, stalls and activities for the kids making this a great day (or 2) out for the whole family. We hope to see you there!
