Surfing and beer are a key part of Noosa’s culture. As presenting partner of the 2021 Noosa Festival of Surfing, we set out to create something memorable for the 30th anniversary of the iconic event. But how do you combine surfing and beer without drinking beer… while surfing?
Thanks to our friends at Campbell Designed we found a way. Father son duo Ryan and Stu Campbell created not one, but two incredible boards as part of our involvement with the festival. The beer board will be a mainstay in the Taproom for years to come!
Finding the perfect balance between beer bottle and surfboard was a real challenge, then of course came the actual question around the boards surfability (yes, it’s a word). How did we go? See for yourself in our video below… “Beer O’Clock”.
