Big win at the 2022 Indies beer awards
Heads of Noosa were stoked to receive a Gold Medal for the Amber Lager in the American Style Amber Lager category at the 2022 Independent Beer Awards.
There was a record number of entries in the @indiebrewers Indies awards, totalling 1458 beers from 207 breweries. It was the largest ever Indies, and to be recognised by our peers and the industry judges is great recognition for what we believe is our most underrated product.
The AMBER LAGER is the most adventurous Lager in the Heads of Noosa line-up yet.

What’s unique about the AMBER?
Inspired by the sunsets of Noosa and designed for after dark, the AMBER LAGER is our most adventurous lager yet in the core Heads of Noosa line-up. This unique lager is perfectly suited to summer holidays, camping and weekends.
The embodiment of balance, this American Style Amber Lager is brewed with a blend of six malts. It features full-flavoured tropical fruit hops with subtle hints of toffee & caramel. It’s Amber in colour and full-flavoured, but it’s a clear and refreshing, approachable lager.
