 CHIEF BEER TASTING OFFICER - Terms & Conditions

  1. Ins​​tructions on how to enter and prize information forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in any competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  2. The promoter is Noosa Brewing Company Pty Ltd (ABN 39 601 901 151) of 85 Rene St, Noosaville QLD 4566 (Promoter).

  3. Heads of Noosa standardly conducts two types of competition, games of skill or game of chance. In the case of game of skill, each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit. In the case of game of chance, winners are based on random selection.

  4. Entry is open to residents of Australia aged eighteen years or over only. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter. Persons under the age of 18 years are not considered adults and therefore are not able to enter. If a winner is discovered to be under 18, they will automatically be disqualified.

  5. Promotion commences and closes on the dates shown. Only the winner(s) will be notified by email and must respond within 96 hours or the prize may be re-allocated. Relocation will be based on remaining competition entrants.

  6. Heads of Noosa reserves the right to share entry data with the prize promoter. On the occasion that this occurs, Heads of Noosa will clearly specify this for privacy reasons.

  7. To enter, entrants must go in person to www.headsofnoosa.com.au during the open period and provide an answer to the question. Incomplete or automated entries will be disqualified. Multiple entries from the same IP address, same email address or from automated competition entry services are invalid. 

  8. Applications close 12 midnight on Sunday 17th December 2023.

  9. One entry per person and per household. Multiple entries from the same person or same household will be disqualified.

  10. The promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  11. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. Transport and travel to and from Noosa and the brewery and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.

  12. The Promoter reserves the right to, at any time, verify an entry or entrant and disqualify an entrant the Promoter has reason to believe has submitted an entry not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  13. All entries in the competition become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information from entrants to conduct the competition and may, in the course of business, disclose the personal information to third parties, as required. Entry in this competition is conditional on provision of the personal information requested. Entries may be entered into a database and the Promoter may use the entrants' names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity in various forms by the Promoter, and the entrant consents to such use. Entrants may direct any request to access their personal information to the Promoter. Additionally, all literary works submitted as part of an entry become the property of the Promoter and it is a condition of entry that those literary works may be used by the Promoter for their own promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without restriction. The promoter may share the entry details with the prize provider.

  14. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the competition without notice.

  15. The Promoter is not liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or inconsequential loss) or personal injury in relation to this competition or the use of, or participation in, the prize.

  16. Terms and conditions of any prize tickets must be adhered to. Some events have age restrictions and these must also be adhered to.

  17. Prizes can only be sent to addresses in Australia and any tickets are only valid in Australia.

  18. In order to enter, the entrants must complete the entry form on the Competition landing page by providing the entrant’s full name, email address, and State

  19. These Terms & Conditions will bind this and any future entry by you into a competition on this site and may be updated from time to time.

  20. In order to enter, the Entrants must agree to receive email marketing communications from the Promoter (who is; Heads of Noosa Brewing Co.). Entrants may unsubscribe to email marketing from the Promoter and Competition Partners at any time after receipt of the first promotional email from the Promoter.

  21. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition or other as subject to any State Legislation.

  22. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies, will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail or email.

  23. The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies, will not be liable to the Entrants or winners for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:

    1. during the draw;

    2. whilst undertaking any travel won in connection with their entry into the Competition;

    3. in the participation in any prize;

    4. as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail or email;

    5. due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; or

    6. due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s, or any Competition Partners’ reasonable control.

  24. The Promoter, its affiliates, and the Competition Partners, assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.

  25. The winner grants Heads of Noosa Brewing and its agents the unrestricted right to use photos and/or videos taken of them for the purpose of publication, promotion, advertising or trade in any manner. I hereby release Heads of Noosa Brewing Co for all claims and liability relating to said images and/or video. I waive my right to compensation.

  26. This prize lasts only for the limited releases developed in 2024 and not beyond this timeframe.

  27. This is not a binding employment contract with Heads of Noosa.
